EDU Ambassador Highlight - Missy Halcott
Missy is a highly experienced educator, who has spent the last 22 years dedicated to teaching.
Missy is currently the Assistant Principal at West York Area Middle School and an adjunct for Wilson College. Her grade 6-8 and graduate students are lucky to have Missy around! She is currently working towards obtaining her supervisory certificate, and first heard of GooseChase when she was researching gamification for a graduate class project while earning her instruction technology specialist degree. Since then, she has used GooseChase with her graduate students, middle school student and colleagues; she frequently shares the platform with others in her personal learning networks! We asked Missy what she thought made GooseChase so special!
“It's interactive. Adults and children love it because they get to have an experience and learn about one another and their surroundings. As a game coordinator, I love seeing the smiles and fun being had by all who participate and remember that life is supposed to be fun when playing.”
