Spring CUE x Goosechase Scavenger Hunt Promotion
Effective Date: March 18, 2026
1. Promotion Overview
No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning. These Official Prize Rules ("Rules") govern the Spring CUE x Goosechase Scavenger Hunt Promotion (the "Promotion") and are incorporated by reference into the Goosechase Adventures Inc. Terms of Use, available at https://blog.goosechase.com/calie-x-goosechase-experience-terms-of-service/
In the event of any conflict between these Rules and the Goosechase Terms of Use, these Rules shall govern with respect to the Promotion.
2. Sponsors
- Prize Sponsor: LEGO Brand Retail, Inc. DBA LEGO Education U.S. ("LEGO Education")
- Promotion Administrator: Goosechase Adventures Inc. ("Goosechase"), [address]
- Event Partner: The California Association for Leading Innovation in Education ("CALIE / Spring CUE")
3. Eligibility
The Promotion is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry (nineteen (19) in Alabama and Nebraska; twenty-one (21) in Mississippi). Employees, officers, and directors of Goosechase, LEGO Education, Spring CUE/CALIE, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family members or household members of any such persons are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law.
4. Promotion Period
The Promotion begins at 8:00 AM Pacific Standard Time ("PST") on March 18, 2026, and ends at 12:00 PM PST on March 21, 2026 (the "Promotion Period"). Entries received outside the Promotion Period will not be eligible.
5. How to Enter
During the Promotion Period, participants must:
- Create or log into a Goosechase account at https://www.goosechase.com/ or via the Goosechase mobile app;
- Join the designated Spring CUE Goosechase experience using the event code provided on-site at the Spring CUE Conference, Palm Springs, California; and
- Complete missions as directed within the Goosechase experience to accumulate points.
No purchase is required to create an account or participate.
6. Prizes
All prizes are provided by LEGO Education. The following prizes are available (each a "Prize"):
The total ARV of all prizes combined does not exceed $115 USD. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash or other substitution is permitted except at the sole discretion of LEGO Education. LEGO Education reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event the stated prize becomes unavailable.
7. Winner Selection & Odds
Winners will be determined based on the total points accumulated within the Goosechase experience during the Promotion Period, with the highest-scoring eligible participants selected first. Point totals alone do not guarantee a prize, all submissions are subject to review by Goosechase following the close of the Promotion Period to verify eligibility, confirm compliance with these Rules, and ensure the integrity of each submission. Goosechase reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to disqualify any submission it determines to be incomplete, fraudulent, in violation of these Rules, or otherwise ineligible, regardless of point total. Goosechase's determination on all matters relating to the Promotion, including but not limited to eligibility, points, submission validity, and winner selection, is final and binding.
8. Winner Notification & Claim
Potential winners will be notified on-site at the Spring CUE Conference, Palm Springs, California, or via the contact information associated with their Goosechase account within 7 business days following the end of the Promotion Period. Potential winners may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release within 30 days of notification. Failure to respond within the specified time period, or if a prize notification is returned as undeliverable, may result in forfeiture of the prize and selection of an alternate winner.
9. Taxes
All federal, state, and local taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Given the ARV of each prize is under $23 USD, no tax withholding or reporting by Goosechase or LEGO Education is anticipated; however, winners are responsible for consulting their own tax advisors.
10. Privacy
Information collected in connection with this Promotion is subject to the Goosechase Privacy Policy, available at https://goosechase.com/privacy. Personal information will be used solely for the purposes of administering the Promotion and fulfilling prizes, and will be shared with LEGO Education and Spring CUE only to the extent necessary for prize fulfillment.
11. General Conditions
Goosechase and LEGO Education reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Promotion in whole or in part if, in their judgment, the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including but not limited to tampering, fraud, or technical failures. Any attempt to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Goosechase reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
12. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
Except where prohibited, all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Rules shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. Any legal proceedings arising out of this Promotion shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
13. Winners List
To request a list of prize winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Goosechase Adventures Inc., 6638 Jane St, Burlington, ON, L7P 0J8, Canada, Attn: Spring CUE Prize Winners List. Requests must be received within sixty (60) days following the end of the Promotion Period.
