GooseChase: How would you describe Goosechase in 3 words?

Donna Nichols: If I had to describe Goosechase in three words, it would be exciting, creative, and learning - because that's exactly what it is for everyone.

GC: What superpower does Goosechase let you tap into?

DN: One superpower that Goosechase has given me - it's a little secret that I have - is its given me the “cool factor”. When you're in elementary school, anyone that comes in bringing new digital skills for the kids, they have a tendency to think you're cool, but when you're in middle school and high school, you’ve got to earn that “cool factor”. And all of my Missions at Goosechase earn me a “cool factor”. My students love it!

GC: What are some of your favorite Missions?

DN: One of the very last Missions that we just recently did was actually with fifth grade, and they were reviewing all the stuff that they knew so far for their science EOG. The students were so excited about being able to creatively come up with answers - either with videos or they would take pictures or drawings or act out something and have their teammates video them doing it - that they didn't even realize how much of the content they knew. They were just super excited about the way to be able to present it.
