Read Across America Day is coming up on March 2, 2025, but why stop at just one day? Let’s turn it into a week-long celebration of reading!

Started in 1998 by the National Education Association (NEA), Read Across America Day was created to inspire a love of reading in students of all ages. It’s celebrated every year on March 2—Dr. Seuss’s birthday!—and many schools extend the fun into a full week of reading adventures.

We’ve put together a Goosechase template packed with fun, interactive Missions to get students excited about books and the worlds within them. It’s quick to set up and easy to customize for your classroom.
