Virtual/Remote Scavenger Hunt Ideas - Volume 1

While scavenger hunts are the most fun when played at a live social event, a little bit of creativity can help an educator or event planner create just as engaging of an experience through a virtual scavenger hunt.

Our indoor missions were specially created for use in our own community game for those seeking an activity while practing social distancing. We welcome anyone to use these missions as inspiraction for their own virtual games!

Indoor Social Distancing Scavenger Hunt Ideas - Volume 1

  • Business Up Top (Photo/Video) - The big meeting is coming up & you need to look professional. But there's no reason why you can't wear track pants with a dressy top half ... right?

  • An Ode to TP (Text) - In a surprise development, toilet paper is now the world's premier currency. Write a haiku (or just a general poem) about this new development. Use the forward slash " / " to separate lines.

  • Shuffle-bored (Video) - Take a break, hit us with your most shuffley shuffle. PARTY ROCK ANTHEM ya dig?!

  • Weight Training (Photo/Video) - Gym closed and no weights around? That's what _____ is for! Fill in the blank with a creative photo or video.

  • Deju Vu (Photo) - Recreate a famous or iconic picture or video. Lacking inspiration? Think John and Yoko, the moon landing, etc.

  • MacGyver Jenga (Photo/Video) - Games are a great way to pass the time, set up your own version of a Jenga tower using whatever you can find and play!

  • No More Handshakes (Video) - It's time to start perfecting the new handshake replacement greeting ritual, the foot tap. Show off your style with your best foot tap choreography. name your new move in the notes!

  • Wash Your Hands, Doo Doo Doo (Video) - Think of a part of a song that is at least 15 seconds long and get somebody to take a video of you washing your hands while singing this tune! Bonus for best performance and original songs.

  • D. A. I. Y. E - Day Spa (Photo or Video) - A mission worthy of Zoolander himself - Put your face mask on, get in your robe, soak your feet - whatever you do to relax and pamper yourself at Tu Casa Spa.

  • Life's a real BEACH (Photo or Video) - We can't travel to the beach physically, but what's stopping us from going there mentally? Get beach ready and settle in. Don't forget that sunscreen and sunglasses!

  • Kanye's New Workout Plan (Text) - Write in your best quick, at home workout for everyone to share!

  • Hardcore Parkour (Video) - Show off some parkour skills by taking a video of you jumping over an object in your house in style. Remember to shout "Parkour!" while doing it.

  • Jazzercise (Video) - Let's roll back the clock a little here. Bust out your best 80s exercise routine. bonus points for best 80's costume and theme music.

  • Lullaby (Video) - Serenade your neighbourhood! Take a video of you singing from your balcony or window - everyone loves a little sweet serenade, baby.

  • Home for the Holidays (Photo or Video) - It's the most wonderful time of the year! Remember December? And the Holidays? What a happy time. Let's roll the clocks back (or forward) - bust out the holiday decorations! Big points for videos with music and outfits.
